Exchange programs
The Erasmus program permits uc3m first-degree and postgraduate students to spend one or several terms at one of the European universities with which uc3m has special agreements or take up an Erasmus Placement, a work placement, or an internship at an EU company. These exchanges are funded with Erasmus Grants which are provided by the EU and the Spanish Ministry of Education.
The non-European mobility program enables uc3m degree students to study one or several terms in one of the international universities with which the university has special agreements. It also has funding from the Banco Santander and the uc3m.
These places are offered in a public competition and are awarded to students with the best academic record and who have passed the language threshold (English, French, German, etc..) requested by the university of destination.

Profilen for kandidaterne fra denne grad er sat til læringsresultater opnået i denne grad, herunder for det første viden og forståelse af de generelle grundlæggende principper for teknik, såvel som især dem fra multimedienetværk, multimediekommunikationstjenester, lyd- og videosignaler behandling, rumakustikkontrol, distribuerede multimediesystemer og interaktive multimedieapplikationer i Audiovisual Systems Engineering inden for familien af telekommunikationsteknik. Kandidater vil være i stand til at udføre en analyseproces for at løse problemer med optagelse, konditionering og komprimering af lyd- og videosignaler, akustisk kabinetdesign, kommunikationsnetværk, tjenester, systemer og applikationer i audiovisuelle systemer, og også være ansvarlige for teknik. design i audiovisuelle systemer, arbejder som et team.
Derudover vil kandidater være i stand til at udføre forskning og implementere innovative bidrag i audiovisuelle systemer til indfangning, behandling, tilpasning, formidling og forbrug af multimedieindhold såvel som deres tilknyttede netværk, tjenester og applikationer, hvilket retfærdiggør den videnskabelige interesse i dette grad. Endelig vil kandidater have jurisdiktion til at anvende deres viden til at løse problemer og designe audiovisuelle systemer og netværk, konfigurere deres enheder og applikationer samt implementere adaptive, personlige audiovisuelle tjenester, der tillader brugen af netværksintelligenselementer, der fører til forbedring af brugeren erfaring, maksimering af potentialet for netværks- og multimedietjenester i de forskellige sociale og økonomiske miljøer, ved at kende de miljømæssige, kommercielle og industrielle implikationer af ingeniørpraksis i henhold til professionel etik; dette er afgørende for uddannelsens faglige interesse.
Endelig giver denne grad de generiske færdigheder, som kandidater har brug for for at praktisere teknik i dagens samfund som evnen til at udvikle effektiv mundtlig og skriftlig kommunikation, arbejde i en tværfaglig ramme og udstyr og opretholde faglig kompetence gennem kontinuerlig læring gennem hele livet.
